The short version: you can read every score on this site without giving us anything at all. We ask for one thing, once, and only if you offer it — your email address, if you choose to sign up.
What we collect
Your email address, and only if you type it into the sign-up form. We use it to email you about Five Day Cricket. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone beyond the email service described below.
That is the only personal information we ask for. There is no account to create, no profile, and no password.
What stays on your device
Your theme, timezone, region and score filters are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers how you like it. This never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
We do not use cookies, and we do not use any analytics or tracking service. There is no advertising network, no pixel, and no third-party script on these pages.
Your approximate country
To show broadcast listings for the right part of the world, our host tells us the country your request appears to come from. We use it once, to pick a default, and you can change it yourself at any time. We do not store it and we do not log it.
Who else is involved
Running a website means other companies are involved. Ours are:
- Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host it processes the technical details of your request, including your IP address, to deliver the page and keep the service secure.
- MailerLite stores and sends our email. If you sign up, your address is held there.
- Supabase is our database. It holds cricket data only — no personal information.
Links that may pay us
Some links to broadcasters and streaming services may earn us a commission. These are marked wherever they appear, and they never change which service we tell you carries a match.
Your choices
- Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you.
- You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Since the only thing we hold is an email address, that is usually a one-line request.
- Clearing your browser data removes every preference this site has stored.
To make any of those requests, use the contact page.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will remove the address.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start collecting something new.
